Sanaa: The Shura Council praised the Yemeni tribes for their pivotal role, honorable stances, and large-scale mobilization across various governorates in armed gatherings that embody the steadfastness and resilience of the Yemeni people in confronting the challenges facing the nation and the ummah.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a statement issued today, the Council affirmed that the tribes' readiness and preparedness to support the Yemeni Armed Forces in any confrontation send a clear message to the forces of aggression that Yemen's tribes will remain steadfast and at the forefront of the lines defending national sovereignty and confronting invaders and occupiers.
The statement noted that the tribes' mobilization with full arms and equipment is clear proof of the faith-driven pride and courage of the Yemeni people, as well as their will and ability to repel anyone who seeks to target the nation or plunder its wealth and resources.
It added that the widespread tribal gatherings and rallies are a source of pride and reflect the vital role of the Yemeni tribes in countering aggressors and would-be occupiers, reinforcing steadfastness, and renewing their full support for the revolutionary leadership's options in confronting any attempts to undermine Yemen's security and stability.
The Council pointed out that such actions are not unusual for Yemen's tribes, who form the backbone of Yemeni society and have a proud historical legacy of defeating invaders - standing as the rock upon which all conspiracies are shattered.
The Shura Council emphasized the continuation of general mobilization and the strengthening of national unity in preparation for any confrontation that the global powers of arrogance - namely the United States and Israel - continue to impose on the Yemeni people because of their steadfast and honorable stance in supporting the causes of the ummah, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
