Sana'a: The Shura Council affirmed that the repeated and failed Zionist attacks on the capital Sana'a will not deter Yemen from its firm religious, moral, and humanitarian stance in supporting the Palestinian people.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Council strongly condemned the renewed Zionist aggression on Sana'a, targeting civilian facilities, public service infrastructures, and densely populated neighborhoods in clear violation of international and humanitarian law, which criminalizes attacks on civilian areas.
The Council considered the latest aggression an extension of previous assaults and a desperate attempt to claim a false victory, as well as an effort to dissuade Yemen from its role in supporting Gaza, whose people are enduring a brutal genocide, starvation, and siege at the hands of the Zionists.
The Shura Council renewed its call on the Association of Senates, Shura and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab world to condemn the repeated Zionist attacks on the Yemeni people over their supportive stance toward the Palestinians in the face of Zionist crimes and arrogance backed by the United States.
It further warned of the grave consequences of the occupying entity's continued aggression against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, cautioning that it risks expanding the circle of conflict and threatening regional security and stability.
The Council urged the international community and the UN Security Council to break their silence and take effective action to confront the Zionist threat, which has become a danger to international peace and security.
The Shura Council denounced the negative role of the international community and the United Nations, calling for an end to the double standards in addressing the crimes of the Zionist entity and demanding that its leaders be held accountable as war criminals for the atrocities committed in Palestine and the region.
Finally, the Council called on the Yemeni people to stand firm against Zionist crimes and to rally around the revolutionary and political leadership with steadfastness and resilience in the battle of the 'Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad,' until the aggression and blockade on Gaza are lifted and the temporary entity is eradicated from the region.
