Taiz:The Shura Council has strongly condemned the airstrike conducted by the Saudi-led forces that targeted the Al-Hadara public market in the Al-Wazi'iyah District, located in the Taiz Governorate. The attack resulted in numerous civilian casualties, including both fatalities and injuries.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Council emphasized that the assault on a public market, which was bustling with civilians, as well as other civilian infrastructures, constitutes a complete war crime. The statement from the Council highlighted this act as a direct violation of international and humanitarian laws, particularly referencing the Geneva Conventions, which explicitly prohibit attacks on civilians and non-military targets.
