Sana'a: The Chairmanship of the Shura Council convened in the capital, Sana'a, to deliberate on recent national and regional developments, placing significant focus on summer programs and key political issues.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, chaired by Shura speaker Mohammed al-Aidroos, commended the robust participation in summer courses across various governorates, underscoring their role in fostering awareness and reinforcing identity among the youth. The council also highlighted the importance of enhancing institutional performance by activating council committees and adopting the 1448 AH work plan.

On the regional front, the council expressed condemnation of Israeli actions in the Horn of Africa, particularly diplomatic moves in Somaliland, and criticized ongoing Israeli and U.S. activities in Iran, Gaza, and Lebanon. The council reiterated its support for regional resistance movements and reaffirmed Yemen's position in backing the Palestinian cause, advocating for the establishment of an independent state with al-Quds as its capital.
