Sana'a: The General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprises Development launched the first phase of a project to distribute food production tools to 26 public schools in Sana'a, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research and funded by the Agricultural and Fishery Projects Financing Unit. The project aims to develop students' skills in food industries, link education with practical training, and promote a culture of production and entrepreneurship among young people.

According to Yemen News Agency, education officials said the initiative supports building a productive society and strengthening self-reliance. Meanwhile, the authority highlighted its role in encouraging local production and preparing students to contribute to economic development and food security. The project builds on a previous summer-center initiative that benefited about 2,400 female students and seeks to revive traditional food production practices, including local dairy industries.
