Sanaa: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour for the Social Welfare Sector, Mohammed Aqabat, inspected the Disability Care and Rehabilitation Fund's performance. His visit aimed to review the services offered by the fund and evaluate the performance levels in its various departments and units, focusing on efforts in disability care and rehabilitation programs.
According to Yemen News Agency, the undersecretary received a briefing from the fund's executive director, Dr. Ali Maghli, and deputy executive director, Othman al-Selwi. They detailed the key services and achievements accomplished during the year 1447 AH. Aqabat commended the fund's role in supporting, caring for, and integrating people with disabilities. He emphasized the significance of economically empowering individuals with disabilities and facilitating their participation in the labour market, highlighting this initiative as part of national and humanitarian responsibilities.
Aqabat also urged for enhanced coordination and collective efforts to improve service quality and ensure better access to healthcare and rehabilitation for people with disabilities.
