Sana'a: The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, alongside the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, honored participants of the Central Workshop for Directors of Education Offices in the governorates. This event, organized by the Basic Education Sector of the Ministry of Education, spanned three days.
According to Yemen News Agency, both ministers commended the dedication of the directors and educators involved. They highlighted the necessity of coordinated efforts between official entities and the community. This collaboration is crucial as preparations continue for the new academic year 1448 AH, aimed at ensuring a successful start despite the challenges posed by ongoing aggression against the country and the resulting resource constraints.
During the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Hatem Al-Duais and Undersecretaries for Higher and Secondary Education, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman and Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, were present. The Undersecretary for Basic Education, Hadi Ammar, elaborated on the workshop's objectives. Key topics included enriching reports and plans such as workforce planning projects, school activities from the previous year, and the governorates' annual achievement reports, focusing on solutions and proposals.
The workshop further explored plans for guidance and supervision, strategies to enhance reading levels among primary students, and education plans for both public and private sectors. These plans also covered the organization and acceptance protocols for administrative and teaching staff in private schools, a strategic plan for early childhood education development, and the training of secondary school teachers through colleges and training institutes.
