Source-Based Waste Sorting Launched in Dhamar

Dhamar: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development, Mohammed Al-Madani, and Dhamar Governor, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, inaugurated the first phase of the source-based waste sorting process in some neighborhoods in the southern region of Dhamar city.

According to Yemen News Agency, the sorting process involves dividing waste into different categories based on its nature. This includes organic waste, which encompasses food waste, fruit and plant remains, and recyclable materials such as plastic, glass, paper, and metals, alongside other types of waste.
