Sana'a: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to his counterparts, who are heads of parliaments in several Arab and Islamic countries, on the occasion of the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his messages, the Speaker highlighted the ongoing plight of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the challenges they face due to ongoing intransigence, arrogance, and breaches of international agreements. He lamented the unjust aggression and siege faced by Palestinians, which defy international norms, laws, and humanitarian principles.
Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i reiterated Yemen's unwavering support for regional causes against conspiratorial agendas targeting the people and sanctuaries of the nation. He expressed disappointment at the lack of response from many Arab and Islamic nations and peoples concerning the adversities faced by the region's inhabitants. Meanwhile, Western countries, including America and Britain, continue to provide substantial support to the occupying Zionist entity, facilitating their actions in the region under the global spotlight.
The Speaker expressed optimism that these nations and their populations would reassess their positions concerning the Palestinian cause, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
He urged Arab and Islamic parliamentary leaders and global citizens to adopt resolute stances in supporting regional causes and to recognize the challenges faced by Yemen due to its pro-Palestinian stance. These challenges, he noted, are driven by conspiracies orchestrated by foreign powers such as America and Britain.
