Beirut: The Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, Yahya Ali al-Ra'i, extended a congratulatory telegram to the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri. This message, sent on Friday, was directed to the people, army, and resistance of Lebanon in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the victory in the July War of 2006.

According to Yemen News Agency, the telegram highlighted the achievements of key figures, notably the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, alongside the leaders and members of the resistance. The Speaker commended their role in strengthening the roots of the resistance and successfully overcoming the Zionist occupiers. He conveyed his pride, along with that of all free people, in the victories achieved by the army, the people, and the resistance against Israel at different points in time. These efforts were seen as instrumental in revealing the weakness and fragility of the Zionist enemy, thwarting its plans against Lebanon and the region, and delivering a humiliating defeat.

The Speaker urged the Lebanese people to enhance their unity in resisting Israeli arrogance and intransigence concerning Lebanese rights. He emphasized the importance of upholding these rights and the just causes of their nation, restoring dignity in alignment with the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Resistance and the Lebanese Army. Additionally, he cautioned them against falling into actions that would serve the Zionist enemy's objectives, which pose a threat to Lebanon, its land, and its people.

The message concluded with a wish for continued success and guidance for the Lebanese people, their army, and the Resistance in facing Zionist conspiracies. It emphasized the need for greater cohesion, steadfastness, and resilience to strengthen national unity, ultimately serving the interests of Lebanon and the broader just causes of the nation.
