Sana'a: The local authority in the Sanhan and Bani Bahloul district of Sana'a Governorate, in coordination with the General Mobilization, organized a speech event to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and International Quds Day.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the governorate advisor Abdulrahman Al-Saraji, the district's General Mobilization official Ahmed Abu Huraira, and a number of social figures. Cultural activist Abdulkarim Atef highlighted the significance of commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom. He reviewed the qualities Imam Ali embodied, emphasizing his role in carrying the banner of Islam against polytheism, disbelief, and tyranny.

He explained that marking this anniversary revives within the nation the principles, values, and positions that Imam Ali represented. The commemoration serves as a reminder of the deviation from the intended path of truth and the consequences of this deviation, including tragedies and suffering.

He affirmed that the anniversary symbolizes a revival of faith, courage, and jihad in confronting current injustices and arrogance that threaten the nation and its religion.

Speeches during the event also emphasized that International Quds Day represents a renewal of jihad and steadfastness in confronting adversaries, and building a nation capable of resilience against challenges, injustice, and arrogance.
