Dhamar: The Darb Community College in Dhamar, in conjunction with the Student Forum (female students' section), organized a speech event to commemorate International Muslim Women's Day, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches at the event highlighted the qualities and virtues of Fatima al-Zahra, her significant place in Islamic history, and the exemplary role she represents for women around the world. The speakers emphasized the importance of using this anniversary as an opportunity to draw lessons from the morals of the Prophet's daughter, aiming to purify souls, strengthen the connection with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and follow their path.
Furthermore, the speeches addressed attempts by adversaries of the Muslim community to obscure the life of Fatima al-Zahra and their methods of corrupting women. They stressed the necessity of being aware of these dangers and confronting them, highlighting the importance of women emulating Fatima al-Zahra, who is seen as the ultimate example of chastity, noble character, and exemplary conduct for Muslim women.
The event also featured expressive songs, adding a cultural dimension to the proceedings.
