Al-khabt: Schools in the al-Khabt district of Mahweet province held student events, rallies, and protest marches on Thursday condemning a U.S. insult to the Holy Qur'an, organized by the district's education sector. Participants voiced their anger at the offensive act, affirming steadfastness in defending the homeland and Islamic sanctities, and emphasized the importance of building a generation grounded in faith, national identity, and ethical values.

According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued during the protests described the insult as a deliberate provocation against Muslims and part of ongoing aggression supported by the U.S. and its allies. The statement highlighted the students' role in raising awareness, supporting national causes, and rejecting any threats to the country's sovereignty.

The students called on Western societies to stop hostility toward Islam and stressed the importance of continuing such educational and cultural activities to nurture informed, values-driven youth capable of defending their homeland.
