Supplementary Examinations for Basic General Certificate Students Commence in Ibb

Sana'a: The Head of the Education Sector in Ibb Governorate, Mohammed Al-Ghazali, launched today the supplementary examinations for male and female students of the Basic General Certificate for the academic year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, Al-Ghazali listened to a briefing from the head of the examination center on the progress of the examination process, the level of preparations, and the organizational procedures followed to ensure the smooth running of the exams.

Al-Ghazali explained that the supplementary examinations represent an important educational opportunity for students who did not succeed in the first round, enabling them to continue their educational journey and transition to the secondary level.

He pointed out that the number of applicants for the supplementary examinations reached 6,000 male and female students, distributed across 40 examination centers in various districts of the governorate. He called on students to invest in this opportunity and exert more effort to achieve results that reflect their aspirations and their families' hopes.

Al-Ghazali also visited the classrooms designated for deaf and mute students at Al-Wahda School in Al-Mashnah District, which includes three classrooms. He reviewed the level of educational services provided to them and the teaching methods used to meet their educational needs.

He affirmed that caring for students with hearing disabilities is an educational, humanitarian, and national responsibility, and comes within the framework of ensuring their right to quality education and integrating them into society, enabling them to develop their abilities, refine their skills, and actively participate in building their academic and professional future.
