Taekwondo Championship Concludes at Ahli Hodeida Club with Strong Participation

Hodeida: The internal Taekwondo Activation Championship concluded Thursday at the Ahli Hodeidah Club, featuring 80 athletes across various weight classes and age groups.

According to Yemen News Agency, the three-day event was supported by local authorities and the Office of Youth and Sports, aiming to revitalize local sports activities. During the closing ceremony, Governor Abdullah Atifi praised the club's management and highlighted the significant presence of parents, noting that family support is vital for the moral and social development of young athletes.

Club Secretary-General Mohammed al-Qadri reaffirmed the club's role as a primary talent pipeline for national teams.

The event ended with the honoring of top-ranking champions, emphasizing a continued commitment to building a generation of athletes grounded in strong values and cultural identity.
