Taiz General Hospital Concludes Successful Free Medical Camp

Taiz: Taiz General Hospital concluded today its five-day free medical camp dedicated to treating diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases, and neurological and psychological disorders.

According to Yemen News Agency, Hospital Director General Dr. Hamoud al-Qareh emphasized the hospital's commitment to providing affordable, high-quality medical services beyond the camp period, acting as an accessible healthcare facility for all residents of the governorate and those in need.

Dr. al-Qareh expressed appreciation for the support from the local authority leadership and the Health and Environment Office. He also extended gratitude to the hospital's medical and administrative teams who worked throughout the camp to deliver healthcare services to patients.

Dr. Waleed Wajih al-Din, Director of the medical camp, reported the initiative's success, noting that while initially intended to serve between 500 and 1,000 patients, the camp accommodated 1,100 beneficiaries due to high demand. Patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular, neurological, and psychological disorders received free consultations, medical examinations, and medications during the camp.
