Taiz:The local authority in Taiz Governorate has launched a project to survey and expand the Al-Ramada-Wahr road in the Bilad Al-Wafi area of Jabal Habashi District. This development aims to extend the six-kilometer road to a width of five meters.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project is being executed in collaboration with the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Taiz and Lahj governorates, along with the Jabal Habashi Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Association.
Badr Al-Din Al-Tayyar, representing the unit, emphasized the project as a testament to the cooperation between local authorities, the unit, and cooperative associations. The initiative is designed to support community efforts and address the service needs of citizens. Al-Tayyar highlighted the road's significance in reducing the isolation of villages within Bilad Al-Wafi, enhancing residents' mobility, improving access to essential services, and facilitating the transportation of agricultural goods to local markets.
Furthermore, Al-Tayyar assured ongoing support for community initiatives, aiming to transform them into sustainable development projects that enhance livelihoods and encourage cooperative work toward comprehensive local development.
