Sana'a:The funeral of Captain Mohammed Yahya Ali Al-Nunu took place on Wednesday in the Bani Hushaish district of Sana'a governorate. Captain Al-Nunu, a native of the Al-Abna' sub-district, died while performing his duty in defense of the homeland.
According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral was attended by Shura Council member Mohammed Mufaddal and Ali Al-Saqqaf, an official from the General Authority for Zakat. During the procession, mourners praised the heroism and sacrifices of the martyrs, recognizing their role in securing freedom for the Yemeni people and liberating them from dependency and foreign influence.
The attendees also highlighted the victories of the Armed Forces in their ongoing battle to defend the nation and reclaim its legitimate rights. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue on the path of the martyrs until complete victory is achieved.
Captain Al-Nunu was laid to rest at the Martyrs' Cemetery in the Al-Abna' sub-district, following funeral prayers held at the Al-Murtada Mosque.
