Sana'a: Tribes and sheikhs from Al-Sala district in Yemen's Taiz province declared a state of general mobilization and readiness, saying the move was in response to a call by the revolutionary leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
According to Yemen News Agency, during an armed tribal gathering attended by local officials, military and security leaders, and tribal figures, participants affirmed their commitment to the leadership's directives. They called for mobilizing efforts toward a battle for liberation, independence, and national sovereignty.
Participants expressed support for a recent statement issued by the Houthi armed forces, describing it as reflecting the will of the Yemeni people. In a rally, they voiced full support for the armed forces and their missile, air, and naval capabilities, declaring readiness to confront any escalation involving Saudi Arabia and its allies.
The rally also thanked Iran for its role in breaking the blockade on Sana'a International Airport and reaffirmed support for Palestinians in Gaza and the concept of the "unity of fronts." It further announced continued nationwide mobilization, the expansion of military training and recruitment programs, and the organization of demonstrations, tribal gatherings, and military exercises.
The gathering concluded with a call for Yemenis across the country to unite in support of what participants described as efforts to end the conflict, restore national sovereignty, and regain control over the country's resources.
