Sana'a: The General Telecommunications Corporation branch in the Capital Secretariat today organized a cultural event to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the Deputy Director General of Telecommunications for the Secretariat, Mohammed Al-Matari, noted that the Yemeni people celebrate the Greatest Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in all institutions and governorates out of love and rejoicing over the birth of the one whose memory Allah has elevated.
He noted the Yemeni people's connection to the Messenger of Allah before his birth, as the Yemeni tribes of Al-Tubba' sent the Aws and Khazraj tribes to Medina and awaited his arrival, generation after generation, until he migrated to them (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
He explained that Yemenis renew their covenant with the Messenger of Allah and commemorate his birth to follow in his footsteps.
Cultural expert Hassan Khairan noted that the people of the heavens and the earth celebrated the birth of the Greatest Messenger, noting that commemorating this anniversary is one of Allah's rituals that must be adhered to.
He stated that the Yemeni people express their faith by celebrating the birth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in all neighborhoods, districts, governorates, and government institutions.
