Gaza:The Palestinian Journalists Forum reported that ten journalists were killed by Israeli fire in the year following the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip while fulfilling their professional and humanitarian duties.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Forum released an infographic titled "A Voice Not Silenced... A Truth Not Obscured," highlighting the continued targeting of journalists despite the ceasefire. The report emphasized that these actions aimed to suppress the truth by silencing journalists and blocking imagery. The journalists killed were identified as Ahmed Washah, Islam Hisham Qunita, Mohammed Washah, Amal Shamali, Anas Ghunaim, Abdul Raouf Shaath, Salah Qashta, Mahmoud Wadi, Mohammed Al-Munirawi, and Ahmed Abu Matair.
The Forum noted the lack of accountability for these deaths, claiming that the absence of international accountability and prosecution facilitates ongoing crimes against journalists. It stated that "the truce did not protect the truth... and their passing stands as evidence condemning the crime."
