Sana'a: The General Mobilization Office of the Thawra district in Sana'a City organized a cultural evening in the Al-Nahda and Al-Jarraf neighborhoods to commemorate the Prophet's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Shura Council member Yahya Al-Mahdi emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday to honor and appreciate the status of the Prophet, who brought about significant transformations in the lives of Arabs and created a strong nation. He noted that this commemoration serves as a reminder of the Prophet's life and morals, his support for the oppressed, and his struggle against tyrants and arrogant powers.
Al-Mahdi highlighted the need to study the life of the Prophet and embody it in real life to revive the Islamic nation from humiliation and degradation. He also stressed the importance of supporting brothers in Gaza, who are facing severe challenges. Cultural expert Ali Hamid al-Din pointed out that the Prophet's birthday marked the birth of a nation brought forth for mankind and emphasized the need for Muslims to return to the Prophet's life, which revives values, light, guidance, and glory for the Islamic nation.
He stated that the Prophet's birthday commemorates pride, steadfastness in the cause of truth, and jihad to uphold the word of Allah and combat injustice and oppression. The event, attended by the director of the district, Aqil al-Saqqaf; a member of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Hassan Zaid; and the director of the Water and Sanitation Corporation in the capital, Mohammed Mada'is, included hymns, poems, and a play expressing the occasion.
