According to Yemen News Agency, the Al-Thawra Foundation's statement highlighted the deliberate targeting of the 26 September and Al-Yemen newspaper headquarters, actions that resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. The foundation underlined that such attacks are a clear violation of international conventions and laws designed to protect journalists and media institutions. The statement framed the aggression as part of what it called the Zionist enemy's broader efforts to silence Yemen's pro-Palestinian voices.
The foundation placed full responsibility for the attack on the Zionist forces and their supporters, particularly pointing to the US administration. It urged global media and human rights organizations to denounce the incident and take action to hold the perpetrators accountable.
Furthermore, the statement conveyed that this event would only reinforce the resolve of Yemeni media professionals to continue their mission of exposing what they describe as the crimes of the Zionist enemy.
