Sana'a:The third edition of Yemen's Bounties Festival is set to open on Saturday at the Sanaa Unity Club, running through November 5. The event will feature 354 participants, including 154 public and private sector entities alongside 200 productive families.
According to Yemen News Agency, the festival aims to promote local products, showcase Yemen's agricultural and fisheries wealth, support productive families, and encourage self-sufficiency. It will include 230 pavilions displaying a variety of local agricultural products, such as fruits, grains, spices, honey, coffee, dairy products, and fish, as well as textiles, cotton garments, and agricultural machinery.
A special section of the event will exhibit 48 locally manufactured agricultural machines and equipment. Additionally, this year's festival will feature scientific seminars and lectures, fostering connections between academics, specialists, and agricultural value-chain experts. An online platform is also being introduced for participant registration, pavilion bookings, and continuous marketing of local products.
Participation in the festival is free, with the Capital Secretariat covering the event's expenses and providing services to exhibitors. This initiative is meant to encourage local producers, cooperatives, and productive families to display and market their goods. The event is organized by the Sanaa Capital Secretariat's Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit.
