Sana'a:The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted thundery rainfall in various governorates over the coming 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, thundery rainfall, accompanied by strong downdraft winds, is anticipated in areas of the governorates of Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, Hajjah, and Amran, as well as in the Tihama Plain and the West Coast.
Additional scattered rain, potentially with occasional thunder, is also expected over the highlands of Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout governorates, along with the southern part of the Socotra Archipelago.
The Center has issued warnings to citizens and motorists about the dangers of being in valley bottoms and flood channels. It also cautioned against thunderstorms and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain highlands due to cloud cover and fog formation. Safety precautions are advised for all.
