Hajjah:Tihama tribes in the Hajjah province have announced their full readiness to align with the armed forces in countering Saudi escalation and its mercenaries. During a significant tribal gathering held under the theme 'Mobilization and Preparedness to Counter Escalation with Escalation,' tribes from Abs, Haradh, Midi, Hayran, Ku'aydinah, Aslam, and Khayran Al-Muharraq committed to defending Yemen's sovereignty, security, and stability. They aim to lift the blockade, recover national resources, and end foreign domination.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tribes expressed their complete mandate to Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to take appropriate actions against aggression to end the war and blockade. They also pledged their support to the armed forces to repel Saudi attacks and denounced assaults on civilians and infrastructure across the country.
The gathering condemned a Saudi attack on the home of citizen Ali Adhli in Haradh, which reportedly killed six people and injured a girl, as well as the use of internationally banned cluster munitions against villages in Abs. The tribes emphasized that these acts, which they termed systematic massacres, would not go unpunished and described them as war crimes without a statute of limitations.
Abdullah Shayem, the provincial mobilization deputy, addressed the gathering, stating that the Yemeni tribes have maintained their positions and struggle for 12 years, with Tihama tribes united behind the revolutionary leadership. He emphasized their determination not to yield to the Saudi enemy or its allies and warned against plots targeting vital infrastructure.
A statement from the gathering condemned over 12 years of Saudi attacks, the blockade, and infrastructure destruction. It affirmed continued steadfastness until the blockade is lifted, rights are restored, and those responsible for massacres are held accountable. The tribes also expressed their readiness to support the armed forces with personnel, funds, and equipment, emphasizing 'blockade for blockade, escalation for escalation, and airport for airport' until aggression ends.
They praised Yemeni armed forces' operations against Saudi troop concentrations in border districts, noting heavy losses inflicted on personnel and equipment. The tribes reiterated their commitment to Arab and Islamic causes, particularly Palestine, and rejected all forms of normalization with Israel. They declared general mobilization and full combat readiness against Saudi forces.
The tribes marked the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Al-Quds Martyr and Major General Mohammed al-Ghumari, renewing their pledge of loyalty to his memory and the cause for which he sacrificed his life.
