Sanaa: The Charitable Society for Teaching the Holy Quran, in collaboration with the Supreme Committee for Activities and Summer Courses, held a closing ceremony today for a competition focused on memorizing, reciting, and mastering the Holy Quran.
According to Yemen News Agency, Hanan Al Azzi, Deputy Head of the Quran Academy for female students, praised the high level of participation and the efforts that contributed to the success of the Quranic activities during the summer courses. She emphasized that attention to the Holy Quran is essential in building a generation equipped with Quranic culture.
Al Azzi highlighted that the competition aimed to encourage female students to memorize, master, and improve their recitation skills. It also sought to showcase outstanding memorizers, fostering a spirit of positive competition and instilling a love for the Holy Quran within the community.
The ceremony featured various performances, including an expressive anthem by young girls that embodied the theme of connection to the Holy Quran. This added a spiritual atmosphere to the event, reflecting the skills participants gained in memorization, tajweed, and recitation.
At the end of the ceremony, top memorizers from the competition were honored for their excellence, with the aim of encouraging them to continue their Quranic journey.
