Tokyo: The Japanese automotive company Toyota announced plans to invest $10 billion in the United States, aligning with previous statements made by President Donald Trump during his recent visit to Asia. According to Yemen News Agency, President Trump had initially revealed the investment plan last month, stating that Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda had discussed the strategy with him during his visit to Tokyo. Trump indicated that the investment would involve building new car factories across several states in the U.S. Despite Trump's previous comments, Toyota's Chief Financial Officer, Kenta Kon, expressed uncertainty about the investment's exact figures last week, noting the difficulty in confirming the accuracy of the $10 billion amount.
