Al-hudaydah: The annual traditional folk carnival festival celebrating the date harvest season for the year 1448 AH took place in the Al-Nakhila area of Ad-Durayhimi District, Al-Hudaydah Governorate. This event coincided with the celebrations of the Prophet's birthday, creating a culturally rich atmosphere.
According to Yemen News Agency, the festival featured a variety of events, including camel and horse races, camel jumping, and folk games and dances. Traditional and carnival performances were also part of the festivities, providing entertainment for attendees. A significant highlight of the festival was the display of local date varieties, aiming to promote and encourage their marketing among locals and visitors alike.
