Al-mahwit: A cultural and speech evening was held on Friday in the Al-Madina sub-district of Al-Mahwit governorate to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event was attended by Al-Mahwit undersecretary Issam Al-Nazili, Youth and Sports Office Director Ibrahim Abdulhamid, Rural Water Office Director Amin Al-Mahwiti, Deputy Social Affairs Office Director Ammar Al-Zariqa, and social figures. It highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and its impact on the life of the Muslim nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Mobilization Official Amer Al-Aqhoumi stated that the occasion reflects the Yemeni people's strong connection with the Prophet Muhammad. He emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life and following his example in compassion, solidarity, and charity, particularly by caring for the poor and those in need. He described the occasion as an educational and faith-based opportunity to deepen awareness of the Prophet's character and teachings, translating them into practical conduct and community service.
District Director Ibrahim Al-Nasser emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion as an expression of the Yemeni people's love for the Prophet. He highlighted the need to reflect on the values and principles of the Prophet's message and to use the occasion to strengthen cooperation, solidarity, and compassion within society. He also stressed the importance of paying greater attention to the needs of poor and vulnerable people.
For his part, Al-Madina mobilization official Aref Al-Nazili noted that the celebrations demonstrate the Prophet's prominent place in the hearts of the Yemeni people and their adherence to their faith-based identity. The evening featured chants, speeches, and cultural presentations highlighting aspects of the Prophet's life, virtues, and character, as well as the importance of following his example.
