Sana'a: Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, Director General of Traffic Police, honored on Sunday the Director of Sana'a Traffic, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al-Ataki, along with several officers, presenting them with the Shield of Excellence and Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their efforts in successfully implementing the traffic plan for the central event marking the Prophet's Birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Traffic Director emphasized that this recognition reflects the national role played by traffic personnel alongside supporting agencies in managing traffic and ensuring smooth movement and departure of participants at the central event.
He praised the exceptional performance and discipline of the traffic officers, noting that their efforts projected an honorable image of the Traffic Police and provided an outstanding example of duty fulfillment and community service.
He stressed the importance of continuing this responsible approach and exerting further efforts to instill traffic awareness culture and strengthen citizens' trust in the Traffic Police, considering the achievements a badge of honor for all personnel in the field.
For his part, Brigadier General Al-Ataki and the honored officers expressed their appreciation for this generous gesture from the Ministry of Interior and Traffic Police leadership, affirming that the recognition serves as a moral motivation to double their efforts. They emphasized that the success achieved was thanks to God Almighty and the close cooperation between various security and organizational units.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Director General of Traffic Police and the officers conducted an inspection visit to the Automated Traffic Services Center at the 22 May Stadium, reviewing the workflow and the level of services provided to citizens.
Al-Barashi praised the performance and discipline observed, urging all personnel to exert maximum efforts to achieve the desired objectives and results.
