Taiz: The Khadir Agricultural Cooperative Association in Taiz governorate, in cooperation with the local authority, general mobilization, the agricultural sector, the cooperative union, and the Bonyan Development Foundation, organized a training workshop for facilitators of model productive groups in Khadir district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop, funded by the Agricultural Finance Unit, aimed to enhance the capacities of 11 facilitators in managing productive groups and setting their priorities according to plant and animal value chains, contributing to sustainable agricultural development.
The workshop addressed several themes, most notably the follow-up of proper agricultural practices for each crop, starting from the agricultural season, seed selection, and land preparation, through planting and care operations, to marketing and food processing industries. It also discussed mechanisms for reducing costs, increasing production, and improving quality, as part of the vertical and horizontal expansion plan for value chains.
