Transport Ministry Discusses Plans for Martyr’s Anniversary Commemoration

Sana’a: A meeting at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, chaired by Deputy Minister Yahya al-Sayyani, discussed on Saturday the program of activities to commemorate the annual Martyr’s Anniversary at the ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions. The meeting focused on organizing events that pay tribute to the martyrs’ sacrifices for the nation’s sovereignty and dignity.



According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by various undersecretaries, officials from the ministry’s sectors, and heads of affiliated agencies. They reviewed a comprehensive plan of events aimed at honoring the martyrs’ greatness and their ultimate sacrifices for God’s cause and the defense of the homeland.



Deputy Minister al-Sayyani highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts among different sectors to ensure that the commemorations reflect loyalty and gratitude to the martyrs. He stressed that honoring the martyrs’ families is both a national and humanitarian duty, further emphasizing the renewal of the pledge of loyalty to the heroes who safeguarded the nation’s honor.



Al-Sayyani also remarked that this year’s commemoration coincides with the ongoing struggle and sacrifices of Yemen’s people, pointing out the recent martyrdom of Major General Mohammed al-Ghammari, Chief of the General Staff. He noted that al-Ghammari exemplified the highest values of devotion and sacrifice for God and the homeland.
