Taiz: Tribes of Sharab Al-Salam District in Taiz Governorate held an armed tribal gathering on Wednesday under the slogan: 'Readiness and Mobilization to End Aggression and Blockade.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants, led by Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Khalidi, along with Deputy Governors Abdulwasea Al-Shamsi and Qanaf Al-Soufi, and various local, security, and social figures, announced their response to the call of the revolutionary leader. They emphasized heightened preparedness to reclaim what they described as the Yemeni people's violated rights.
They reiterated their commitment to supporting regional causes and enhancing mobilization efforts to address current developments. The tribes underscored the revolutionary leader's call for unity in confronting challenges they attribute to hostile targeting of Yemen, highlighting the necessity for collective efforts to end the aggression, expel occupation forces, and break the blockade.
Sharab Al-Salam District Director Ahmed Al-Qaisi emphasized the need for increased public mobilization and readiness to implement leadership directives, tackle challenges, and secure Yemeni rights. He reiterated the authorization for the revolutionary leader to make decisions regarding the battle to liberate occupied provinces and support regional causes, while noting the ongoing mobilization and training programs to strengthen fighters' capabilities.
Speakers at the gathering commended the positions of Sharab Al-Salam residents and their continued mobilization for various scenarios. The gathering's statement expressed full readiness and general mobilization to support the fronts with resources and personnel, as well as readiness to confront Saudi aggression and defend national assets.
The statement also praised operations and victories achieved by Iran against Israel and the United States, advocating for unified positions within the 'resistance axis' and greater coordination to face regional challenges and perceived conspiracies. It called for official and popular mobilization to contribute to ending the aggression and blockade, advancing toward full national independence, protecting sovereignty, and ensuring sustainable development for the Yemeni people.
The statement further declared general mobilization across various fields, continued support for training and qualification programs, and renewed authorization for the revolutionary leader to make decisions aimed at protecting national interests. It urged all Yemenis to unite, strengthen efforts, complete the liberation of national territory, recover looted resources, and secure all legitimate rights.
