HOCC Declares Red Sea Navigation Safe for Global Shipping Companies

Sana'a: The Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center in Yemen has informed global shipping companies that navigation in the Red Sea is deemed safe for all, with the exception of Saudi ships, which remain under a prior ban.

According to Yemen News Agency, this announcement was made on Thursday, highlighting the ongoing navigational restrictions specifically targeting Saudi vessels. The statement reassures other international companies about the security of their operations in the Red Sea region, aiming to facilitate smoother maritime activities.

The declaration underscores the continued enforcement of the ban on Saudi ships, a policy rooted in ongoing regional tensions. Shipping entities are advised to remain cognizant of these specific restrictions while planning their routes through the Red Sea.
