Tribal Gathering in Taiz’s Al-Shamayatayn Declares Mobilization Against Saudi Aggression

Taiz:The residents of Al-Shamayatayn District in Taiz Governorate convened an armed tribal gathering on Wednesday to express solidarity with Palestine and declare mobilization against Saudi actions, which they described as aggression, siege, and disinformation, under the Quranic verse 'March forth, whether light or heavy.'

According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering was attended by notable figures including First Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Khulaydi, Education Sector Official Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhibani, Social Unity Unit Official Hames Al-Habbari, District Director Ramzi Al-Saqqaf, and local sheikhs. The participants chanted slogans condemning the escalation of Saudi attacks and the expansion of the siege, which they claimed serve American and Israeli interests.

The attendees declared full mobilization, heightened readiness, and continuous vigilance to confront the aggression and siege, condemning alleged crimes against Yemeni civilians, including women and children. They emphasized the need for ongoing mobilization, strengthening tribal preparedness, unifying ranks, and intensifying community efforts. The gathering called for practical action by providing fighters, food, and financial support to the fronts, while attending to the needs of those stationed there.

In their statement, the participants affirmed their readiness to mobilize with weapons and equipment against the Saudi enemy, accusing it of committing grave crimes across Yemen and maintaining a blockade aimed at forcing Yemenis to abandon their religious convictions and steadfast positions on regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause. They declared support for the armed forces in confronting the blockade and what they described as criminal acts, committing to the revolutionary leadership and the principle of 'blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation' until the blockade and aggression end, and rights and national resources are restored.

The statement also called on individuals described as misled to return to the national fold, benefit from the presidential amnesty, and stop participating in the bloodshed and suffering of fellow Yemenis. It reaffirmed the district's commitment to religious, Quranic, and moral principles concerning regional issues, particularly Palestine and the defense of Islamic holy sites in Mecca and Medina.

The participants renewed support for Al-Aqsa Mosque, condemning repeated incursions by Israeli settlers and criticizing Arab governments that maintain relations with Israel, particularly Saudi Arabia, accusing them of failing to protect Islamic holy sites. They congratulated the people of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance on the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023, 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation, describing it as historic and reaffirming their solidarity with the Palestinian resistance and the Axis of Jihad and Resistance, pledging to remain steadfast until the promised victory is achieved.
