Sana'a: A tribal mediation successfully resolved an 18-year-old murder case today in Bani Al-Khayyat locality, Al-Tawila District, Al-Mahwit Governorate. During the reconciliation, attended by Governor Haneen Qutaynah and Shura Council member Muqbil Talal, the victim's heirs, Abdullah Mohammed Ali Majli, announced their pardon of the perpetrator, Yasser Nasser Ahmed Majli, for the sake of Allah and in honor of the attendees.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Qutaynah and those present praised the humanitarian stance of the victim's heirs for forgiving, relinquishing their claim, and closing the case, in response to the call of the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to promote reconciliation, reject conflicts, and address societal issues. They noted that such actions reflect the authentic Yemeni tribal values.
The governor emphasized the importance of fostering tolerance and brotherhood, resolving all disputes, and reinforcing security, unity, and focus on confronting the real enemy. Governor Qutaynah also addressed the current challenges facing the nation and stressed the need to prepare for them with awareness and steadfastness, while confronting Zionist projects targeting the nation and its resources.
