Amran: The General Mobilization Office and the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Programs in Amran Governorate convened an extensive meeting to launch the 1447 AH summer schools and programs, themed 'Knowledge and Jihad.'
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Dr. Faisal Ja'man highlighted the necessity of unified efforts to ensure the success of these summer school activities and programs. The aim is to educate and nurture a conscious generation equipped with the Qur'an, moral upbringing, and a strong faith-based identity. Dr. Ja'man called on parents to enroll their children in summer schools to take advantage of activities in religious, scientific, educational, and skill-building areas.
Sajad Hamza, the Governorate's General Mobilization official, outlined that the summer programs intend to protect youth from the dangers of soft war and misleading cultures. The programs aim to raise youth according to Qur'anic teachings, noble values, and ethics. Hamza emphasized the collective responsibility for the programs' success to fortify children religiously, academically, culturally, and physically, particularly focusing on Qur'an memorization and learning its sciences.
Abdul Rahman Al-Imad, the Governorate's Education Sector official, reviewed the tasks assigned to authorities for implementing and supervising summer program activities. Al-Imad discussed the executive plan for committees and summer schools in the districts, stressing coordinated efforts to ensure the schools' success. He noted that these schools play a crucial role in strengthening the rising generation with Qur'anic culture and reinforcing the faith-based identity. The open, model, and scout schools for the year have been identified in the governorate center and districts.
