Southeast Sana’a Court Adjourns Murder Case for Defense’s Final Response

Sana'a: The Southeast Sana'a Court has adjourned the hearing in the case of Hisham al-Kayyal and his wife's murder, granting the defense a final opportunity to respond to the presented evidence. During Sunday's session, presided over by Judge Jaber Mughlis, the court heard arguments from both the prosecution and defense in the case of the murder of Hisham al-Kayyal and his wife, Asmaa Abdo Al-Dhabibi.

According to Yemen News Agency, the prosecution has charged seven individuals with planning and executing the shooting on December 17, 2025, which resulted in the deaths of the couple and injuries to their child. The court also ordered the prosecution to ensure medical care for the seventh defendant, who requires hospitalization, and will decide on his release after reviewing the case. The hearing was adjourned to allow the defense team to respond to the evidence presented by the prosecution.
