Tribal Stand in Mawiya District Condemns Murders of Poet and Young Man in Taiz

Mawiya: Mawiya district in Taiz province witnessed an armed tribal demonstration to condemn the murder of poet Rashid Al-Hattam and young man Majid Al-Amiri from Qifa under torture in the prisons of the aggression mercenaries in Marib city.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the stand, which was led by the directors of Mawiya district, Abdulsalam Hashim, Samir Rakba, and a number of local, executive, and tactical leaders, the participants emphasized that these criminal acts, which are contrary to the teachings of the true Islamic religion, reflect the level of religious, value, moral, and human decay and fall to which the aggression mercenaries have reached.

A statement issued by the vigil condemned the crimes committed by the Islah militia against poet Al-Hattam and young man Al-Amiri, who were kidnapped and tortured until they died. It held the aggression’s mercenaries and their criminal tools fully responsible for the two crimes and other crimes committed against citizens in all Yemeni provinces and regions under their control for nine years.

The statement called on all free and honorable Yemenis to stand up against these crimes that are against nature and alien to the conservative Yemeni society, its customs, traditions, ancestors, and norms.
