Ibb: Two cultural events were held on Thursday in Al-Radmah District, Ibb Governorate, to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the first event was organized by the district branch of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance. During this event, District Director Abdullah Al-Farah emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion by reflecting on the Prophet's life and following his example and noble character. He noted that this occasion provides an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life and translate values such as patience, steadfastness, sacrifice, altruism, and solidarity into practices that strengthen social cohesion in confronting challenges.
General Mobilization official Hussein Al-Harouni elaborated on aspects of the Prophet's biography, while Sheikh Ammar Al-Hadi discussed the significance of commemorating the occasion amid the country's current circumstances, noting that it reinforces steadfastness and commitment to the Islamic identity.
In a separate event organized by the district security department, Dhamar Governorate Deputy Muhammad Abdullah stated that restoring the nation's strength and dignity depends on adherence to the Holy Quran and following the Prophet's example in defending truth and confronting aggression. District Security Director Col. Ali Harash highlighted that the celebrations reflect Yemenis' longstanding connection to the Prophet and their commitment to his values, stressing the importance of drawing on his life to promote awareness, responsibility, security, stability, and social solidarity.
