Two Meetings in Hajjah Governorate Center Aim to Enhance Development Pathways

Hajjah: Two meetings were held in the center of Hajjah governorate, chaired by member of parliament Dr. Ahmed Nassar, to enhance development pathways. The sessions focused on activating the role of cooperative associations in the district, aiming to contribute to local development and achieving strategic goals.

According to Yemen News Agency, the first meeting took place in the area of the martyr Abu Hamza Al Kuhlani, while the second was held in the sub-district of Hamlan. These meetings were attended by district director Essam Al Wazan, mobilization official Hamza Al Qadi, members of the preparatory committee of the Cooperative Association of Hajjah city, and local sheikhs, notables, and dignitaries. Discussions centered on ways to advance the association's economic and developmental role in the district.

Dr. Nassar emphasized the importance of cooperative associations in achieving economic and developmental progress, particularly in upgrading the agricultural sector and economic empowerment projects. He highlighted the political leadership's support for initiatives that contribute to sustainable development through cooperative associations.

Dr. Nassar reviewed the strategic goals of the association, focusing on achieving self-sufficiency, reducing the import bill, and enhancing comprehensive development. He encouraged participation in the association to ensure the success of its initiatives, which aim to serve the district's residents.

Meanwhile, Zakaria Al Mahbashi, a member of the association's preparatory committee, discussed the mechanisms for building service and production projects. He cited successful models from other districts and emphasized the role of associations in supporting the national economy and enhancing local production.

The meetings resulted in several visions and directions aimed at activating the association's role and enhancing its participation in societal service, contributing to economic and social development.
