Two Women’s Events and Stand-In Vigils Mark Ashura Anniversary in Al-Haymah and Manakhah

Sana'a: The Cultural Women's Authority in the districts of Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah and Manakhah, Sana'a Governorate, organized two central events on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali, Ashura, under the slogan: 'Far be it from us to accept humiliation.' According to Yemen News Agency, during both events, participants emphasized that Ashura is not merely an occasion of passing grief, but a source of lessons and moral guidance, especially in light of current similar circumstances and events. Speeches delivered at the events highlighted that Imam Hussein represents the line of truth and Islam in confronting falsehood and wrongdoing, embodying a model of freedom, dignity, and struggle in the path of Allah. The participants noted that Imam Hussein's movement and uprising stemmed from a religious and moral responsibility, as expressed in his renowned call, 'Far be it from us to accept humiliation.' His movement was not for power or position but to confront deviation and injustice of his time . The events included poems and chants expressing the significance of the occasion. Additionally, the free women of Al-Haymah Al-Kharijiyah and Manakhah held two vigil gatherings in support of the call by the leader of the revolution to end the Saudi aggression and blockade on the country. Participants in the vigils chanted slogans of freedom and courage, including 'Far be it from us to accept humiliation,' reaffirming loyalty to the master of martyrs and renewing their commitment to the values of truth, justice, and dignity established through his sacrifice. They also reaffirmed their steadfast position in supporting holy sites, the oppressed, continuing cultural activities, and providing financial support to fighters and the axis of resistance.
