Sanaa: On this day, February 23, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched aerial and ground attacks that resulted in the martyrdom and injury of civilians and massive destruction of infrastructure and citizens' properties. According to Yemen News Agency, on February 23, 2016, a citizen was martyred and agricultural equipment was destroyed as a result of an airstrike carried out by the aggression's aircraft in the Al-Batina area, Harf Sufyan District, Amran Governorate. Several areas, including Al-Gharra and Jabal Al-Marha, were targeted, resulting in damage to public and private property. Citizen Ahmed Nasser Hantash and his son Mansour were martyred in Marib Governorate when aggression's aircraft targeted their car. The aircraft launched multiple raids, causing significant damage to infrastructure, including Hajlan Bridge and several homes and properties across various districts. The aggression extended to Saada Governorate, where a girl was injured, and severe damage was reported in Razeh District due to Saudi missile shelling. Extensive destruction was noted in Sahar District after multiple air raids. The aggression's aircraft conducted raids in multiple governorates, including Hajjah, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and Sana'a, causing significant destruction to homes, farms, and public infrastructure. In Al-Hudaydah Governorate, attacks targeted villages, airports, and industrial sites, leading to fires and severe damage. On February 23, 2017, attacks continued, resulting in civilian casualties and infrastructure damage in Taiz and other governorates. Cluster bombs injured several citizens in Saada Governorate, and mercenary artillery shelling severely damaged homes and properties. In subsequent years, the aggression persisted with airstrikes and artillery shelling leading to more civilian deaths, injuries, and widespread destruction of property across multiple governorates. On February 23, 2022, Saudi artillery shelling in Saada Governorate resulted in civilian casualties, including African migrants. On February 23, 2 023, mercenaries were reported establishing combat fortifications and shelling several areas, contributing to ongoing violence and instability in Yemen.
