Sanaa: On this day, April 23, historical events reveal a series of devastating incidents attributed to the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, which targeted educational facilities, citizens' homes, farms, and wedding parties across Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression on April 23, 2015, led to the death of a citizen and injuries to 14 others when an airstrike targeted the community college in the Yarim district of Ibb Governorate. The attack resulted in the collapse of two homes and extensive damage to classrooms and equipment. A separate airstrike in the Al-Kadaked area killed another citizen and caused significant damage to the Training and Rehabilitation Institute in Al-Sahoul.
Further airstrikes on Hodeida International Airport rendered it non-operational. On April 23, 2016, air raids targeted the Al-Jand area in Taiz governorate, while mercenaries bombed a plastics factory and shelled farms and homes in various districts across Jawf, Shabwah, and Taiz governorates.
The following year, on April 23, 2017, the aggression's air force caused extensive damage to private property and farms in the Sanhan and Bani Bahloul districts of Sana'a governorate. In 2018, the coalition announced the killing of President Saleh al-Samad in an airstrike in Hodeida Governorate, with additional strikes causing civilian casualties in Hajjah Governorate.
