US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Results in Significant Casualties and Damage in Yemen on September 4

Sana'a: On September 4, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression inflicted severe casualties and infrastructural damage in Yemen, targeting vital facilities and residential areas. The attacks resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, including children and women, marking another tragic day for the Yemeni people. According to Yemen News Agency, on September 4, 2015, the aggression aircraft launched five airstrikes on Shaara Hospital and three homes in Razih District, Saada Governorate, leading to the martyrdom of seven citizens, including two children and a woman, and injuring six others. Further airstrikes in the Capital Sana'a and Ibb Governorate caused significant destruction to educational and defense facilities, as well as citizens' homes. In Hajjah Governorate, 15 airstrikes targeted residential buildings and commercial shops, resulting in extensive material damage. Meanwhile, in Marib City and Sirwah District, several strategic areas were bombed, causing widespread destruction. The aggression continued in the following years, with the martyrdom of Sheikh Mujahid Al-Assar and injuries to civilians in 2016 due to artillery shelling by mercenaries in Al-Jawf Governorate. Similar airstrikes and shelling in Al-Hodeida and Saada Governorates led to further loss of life and destruction of essential infrastructure, including a communications network and water project. The pattern of aggression persisted in subsequent years, with relentless airstrikes targeting various districts in Saada, Hajjah, Al-Bayda, and Marib Governorates. The attacks were characterized by the targeting of residential areas, causing significant civilian casualties and displacement. By 2020, the aggression aircraft intensified their airstrikes across multiple governorates, including Marib, Al-Jawf, and Al-Hodeida, resulting in injuries to children and adults. The attacks also caused substantial damage to commercial and residential properties, exacerbating the humanitarian situation in Yemen. In recent years, the aggression has continued una bated, with reconnaissance aircraft carrying out numerous airstrikes in districts such as Maqbanah in Taiz Governorate and Hays in Al-Hodeida Governorate.
