US-Saudi-UAE Aggression on May 16 Results in Casualties and Damage Across Several Yemeni Provinces

Hodeida: On this day, May 16, the American-Saudi-UAE aggression targeted citizens and public and private property in a number of provinces by air, sea, and land, resulting in martyrs, wounded, and massive destruction.

According to Yemen News Agency, on May 16, 2015, the Saudi enemy army fired 23mm machine gun shells from Jabal Tuwaylaq towards the Shada Triangle and missiles at the border areas of Al-Hasama and Al-Manzalah in Saada province. Additionally, artillery shelling from Al-Radif site targeted the border area of Al-Baram, and various other regions experienced similar aggressions.

In 2016, three citizens were injured due to shelling by mercenaries on Al-Aqroud area in Al-Masrakh district in Taiz province. Meanwhile, the aggression aircraft launched several raids on strategic locations, including Hodeidah Airport and various areas around Marib province.

The following year, 2017, witnessed further escalation with the martyrdom of three women and a man due to Saudi missile and artillery shelling in the border district of Shada in Saada province. Additionally, a young girl, Hamoudah Ahmed Ali Shaibah, was severely injured by a cluster bomb explosion, leading to the amputation of her right foot.

In 2018, aggression warships targeted citizens' farms in Al-Araj area in Bajil district, Hodeida province, while the aggression aircraft conducted raids on Al-Mahathir area in Saada province, marking another year of violence.

On May 16, 2019, a deadly attack resulted in the martyrdom of six citizens, including four children, and injuries to 54 others, caused by aggression air raids targeting a residential neighborhood in the Capital Secretariat. Multiple airstrikes were launched on various locations in the capital Sana'a, causing extensive damage.

The aggression continued in 2020, with airstrikes on Qaniyah area in Al-Bayda province, and heavy artillery shelling in Hodeida province, causing widespread fear and destruction.

In 2021, aggression mercenaries established combat fortifications and conducted artillery shelling in several areas within Hodeida province. Meanwhile, the aggression aircraft launched multiple raids on Sirwah district in Marib province.

On May 16, 2022, aggression reconnaissance aircraft launched a raid on citizens' homes in Al-Fakherah area in Al-Dhalea province, and combat fortifications were established by mercenaries around Marib city. Artillery shelling continued to target various regions, causing further casualties and destruction.

Most recently, on May 16, 2023, aggression spy aircraft launched a raid on Hays district in Hodeida province, accompanied by artillery shelling across several areas, perpetuating the cycle of violence and instability in the region.
