Sana'a: On June 25, a series of airstrikes launched by US-Saudi-UAE coalition aircraft resulted in significant destruction and loss of life across multiple governorates in Yemen. The attacks, which have been ongoing since 2015, have caused extensive damage to infrastructure and citizens' properties.
According to Yemen News Agency, the aggression began on June 25, 2015, with 20 airstrikes targeting Ataq city in Shabwah Governorate, damaging homes and partially destroying a vehicle service complex. The strikes also obliterated the doctors' residence at Haradh General Hospital in Hajjah Governorate and devastated a nearby hotel, affecting adjacent residential properties.
On June 25, 2016, airstrikes targeted Al-Shaqira Market in Taiz Governorate, damaging public and private properties. Concurrently, mercenaries shelled eastern neighborhoods of Taiz city, impacting homes and facilities. Similar airstrikes in Al-Jawf Governorate also caused damage.
The aggression continued on June 25, 2017, with five airstrikes on Mubarak Mas'ad Al-Zaidi's house in Marib Governorate, resulting in the deaths of nine citizens, including children and women. Additional airstrikes in Marib caused further damage to homes and farms. In Saada Governorate, Saudi border guards fired on citizens, and artillery targeted markets.
June 25, 2018, saw airstrikes in Amran city, causing 24 casualties, including children and women. The strikes targeted residential areas, the General Telecommunications Administration, and the Governorate Security Administration. Similar attacks occurred in Al-Hodeida, Saada, and Hajjah Governorates.
On June 25, 2019, a mortar shell killed a citizen in Al-Hodeida, where the mercenaries also attacked various neighborhoods with artillery and machine guns, damaging homes and properties. An airstrike in Hajjah Governorate added to the destruction.
The aggression on June 25, 2020, resulted in five fatalities and injuries to five others in Marib and Al-Bayda Governorates. Airstrikes targeted civilian vehicles, while artillery and rocket shelling hit Al-Hodeida city, causing significant damage.
On June 25, 2021, a citizen was injured by Saudi army fire in Saada Governorate. Airstrikes in Marib and other governorates continued, along with shelling by mercenaries in Al-Hodeida.
The attacks persisted on June 25, 2022, with mercenaries establishing combat positions and shelling multiple locations in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Dhalea, and border fronts, causing further damage.
On June 25, 2023, artillery and gunfire assaults by aggression mercenaries continued across Al-Hodeida Governorate, perpetuating the cycle of violence and destruction.
