Sana'a: On February 11, coalition aircraft from the US, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE launched a series of airstrikes on multiple Yemeni governorates, leading to civilian casualties and significant destruction of property and infrastructure. According to Yemen News Agency, on February 11, 2016, the coalition targeted the Al-Nahdain area in Al-Sabeen District, Daris area in Bani Al-Harith District, and a residential building in Al-Huthaili area. The attacks resulted in damage to homes, shops, and public and private properties. The coalition also used internationally prohibited cluster munitions in over 50 airstrikes across various regions in Sana'a Governorate, causing extensive damage to farmland and residences. The airstrikes also destroyed critical infrastructure, including Assaj Bridge in Nihm District and telecommunications towers in Bani Matar District. Taiz Governorate saw multiple strikes on residential and government areas, severely damaging communications towers, government buildings, and homes. The ci ty of Mocha experienced around 20 raids, with significant damage reported in Port Street and neighboring areas. Sa'ada Governorate endured airstrikes in multiple districts, causing widespread damage to homes and farms, while artillery and rocket fire from Saudi forces further exacerbated the destruction. Similar attacks occurred in Lahj, Hajjah, Al-Jawf, Marib, and Al-Bayda Governorates, with multiple airstrikes targeting residential and agricultural areas. On February 11, 2017, airstrikes in Mocha led to the deaths of ten citizens, including women and children. Coalition attacks continued across Sa'ada, Hajjah, Al-Hodeidah, and Najran, utilizing cluster munitions and causing extensive damage to civilian and government infrastructure. Throughout subsequent years, the coalition maintained its airstrike campaign across Yemen, leading to continued civilian casualties and damage to public and private property. The use of artillery and machine guns by mercenaries further contributed to the devastation, particul arly in Al-Hudaydah and Marib Governorates. These persistent military operations have led to significant loss of life and widespread destruction, severely impacting the lives of Yemeni civilians and the country's infrastructure.
