Sana'a:Air and ground attacks by US-Saudi-Emirati forces have led to the deaths and injuries of numerous civilians and significant damage to properties across several Yemeni governorates.
According to Yemen News Agency, on October 1, 2015, airstrikes in the Capital Sana'a resulted in the deaths of two citizens and injuries to ten others. The attacks damaged homes and vehicles near a petrol station in the Hadda area. Additionally, the Aqd Asfrah Bridge in Bani Matar District was destroyed, disrupting transport between Sana'a and Al-Hodeida. Further attacks in the Dhamar and Saada governorates caused severe damage to farms, homes, and businesses.
On October 1, 2016, airstrikes in the Capital Sana'a martyred two citizens and injured nine others. The strikes targeted the Yemeni Economic Corporation warehouses and other areas, resulting in severe damage to homes and agricultural lands. In Taiz Governorate, two women were killed due to mercenary shelling, and multiple airstrikes targeted infrastructure and farms across various districts.
By October 1, 2017, aggression aircraft continued their assault with strikes in Sana'a, Marib, and Taiz governorates, causing damage to property. The Shabwah, Saada, Asir, and Jizan regions also experienced significant airstrikes, with reports of missile attacks and machine-gun fire further increasing the devastation.
October 1, 2018, saw continued violence with airstrikes and artillery shelling in Al-Jawf and Saada governorates, resulting in injuries and extensive property damage. Missile and artillery shelling targeted populated areas, intensifying the hardship faced by civilians.
On October 1, 2019, artillery and mercenary fire in Al-Hodeida Governorate injured citizens and damaged infrastructure. The Saada Governorate saw similar attacks, with populated villages suffering from missile and artillery shelling.
The violence persisted into October 1, 2020, when a child's death and injuries to a woman and her children were reported in Marib Governorate due to an explosive remnant. Airstrikes and shelling continued throughout the governorates of Saada, Al-Hodeida, and Al-Jawf, causing further civilian casualties and property destruction.
On October 1, 2021, five citizens were killed and 11 injured by Saudi army fire in Saada Governorate. Airstrikes and reconnaissance operations targeted Marib and Al-Hodeida governorates, with mercenaries fortifying positions and using artillery extensively.
By October 1, 2022, armed reconnaissance and mercenary forces continued their offensive across multiple governorates, including Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, and Al-Hodeida, causing widespread destruction and further endangering civilian lives.
Most recently, on October 1, 2023, six citizens, including a woman and an African migrant, were killed or injured in Saada Governorate due to artillery shelling. Airstrikes and mercenary activities in Taiz and Al-Hodeida governorates have continued, contributing to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
